Learn my Top 3 Strategies for creating more energy, and more Joy!, in your life. It?s difficult to feel joyful, present, and ALIVE when we?re dragging through our days. These strategies will help you start to turn the tide.

Good morning!

I hope you are off to a splendiferous start this fine Tuesday morning. I also hope that you are in the mood for a question this morning, because I have one for you. Great news is, I?m also going to give you an answer, as Body Sass? tip to help you Create Vibrant Health: BodyMindSpirit?.

Have you ever wished you had more energy?

BWAH-HA-ha!!! That was a funny one, right? My experience in talking to people, both personally and professionally, is that feeling low on energy is pretty universal in our culture. I kid you not when I tell you that about 98% of my clinical clients, when submitting their intake paperwork to me, note ?more energy? as a health goal, regardless of their age.

In stark contrast to that phenomenon, when my Body Sass? Cleanse participants are about 10 days into their 21-day Journey, they are most often blown away by their energy levels. 10 days! Now, there are a multitude of reasons for that, and this is ?Top 3 Strategies?, not ?Top 30 Strategies,? but let?s look at three totally actionable baby steps you can take to improve your energy, especially for that ?mid-afternoon slump.?

Body Sass? Top 3 Strategies For More Energy

  1. Start your day, within 30-90 minutes of getting up, with a nutrient-dense breakfast. Just think Clean Protein, Healthy Fats, and Smart Carbs, and make it easy so that you won?t sideline your goals by making excuses (?I don?t have time for breakfast!?). An apple and nut butter. Full-fat yogurt with frozen blueberries. A handful of pecans and a banana. A hard-boiled egg and some carrot sticks.
  2. Do not start your day with caffeinated coffee. No, I?m not kidding. If you must have it, have it after breakfast (see #1).
  3. Eat every 3-5 hours during the day and have a Healthy Fat and/or a Clean Protein each time you eat. So, a muffin for a snack doesn?t cut it, nor do M&M?s, nor pretzels. Sunflower seeds and a kiwi??slam dunk. Seeds (and nuts) have BOTH Healthy Fat and Clean Protein.

Even just committing to ONE of those three suggestions, and making it a habit, will help improve your energy. And, improving your energy allows you to truly live your life!
