Thanksgiving crowd-pleasin’ vegetable side dishes

November 12, 2019
This Thanksgiving, why not bring in some new Food Sass? side dishes to wow your crowd? Delicious and nutritious, these five recipes will bring a whole new flair to the sometimes same-ole, same-ole of the Thanksgiving meal.

Happy Tuesday! Thank you to all of you local to the Boston area that stopped by my table at last weekend’s 13th annual Natural Living Expo. I had a great weekend signing books, and chatting with folks about the book and the upcoming January Body Sass® Cleanse Group Program. The expo had over 10,000 folks participate and it was a rockin’ busy place!

On this fabulous day in November, I am en route to Houston, TX for the next Wild World, Joyful Heart book event. Exciting! I’ve never been to Houston and my top four reasons for being excited are:

  1. I get to connect with 70+ Houstonians and share inspiration and empowerment for health and joy in our wild world.
  2. The event is being hosted by Accel Lifestyle, a cool and socially conscious company founded by my friend, family member, and entrepreneurial colleague, Megan Eddings.
  3. Houston reportedly has more than 11,000 restaurants and I love to seek out Food Sass? restaurants.
  4. I love traveling and experiencing new places and people.

And that’s the short list! If you are local-ish to Houston and are free on Wednesday evening (Nov 13th) at 6:30 pm, I invite you to register here and join us.

In other news, Thanksgiving is right around the corner here in the US of A! Here are five ideas to add some delicious taste in the form of Food Sass to your Thanksgiving Day table:

Mashed Cauliflower

Beet Chips (as part of your appetizers)

Exotic Holiday Salad

Butternut Squash Coconut-Curry Soup

Sweet Potato Heaven

Who’s lookin’ out for you for holiday taste and nutrition?! Me, that’s who 🙂

Enjoy!
