December 24, 2019
December 24th! This 3.5-minute read will support you with JOY, finding your Body Sass?, enjoying long car rides, and music choices. A holiday cornucopia!

Today I’m sending along my best wishes for a lovely holiday season and New Year. Today’s a full day for many folks, so I’ll keep this short and sweet with 4 suggestions for health and joy:

Soul Food: Re-Connect with JOY

Holiday bustle got you feeling a little frazzled? A little tired? Maybe a bit disconnected from the joy of life? It may be time for some AWE and JOY!…two states that I see as closely related. I was pleased to recently contribute to THIS new article from Thrive Global, sponsored by Bose, on awe. Joy and awe feel good and are actually good FOR us, BodyMindSpirit. Ready for some more JOY in your holidays? You can check out the short article HERE.

May I Ride Shotgun in Your Car?

If you’ve got some holiday driving ahead of you, I have the perfect companion for you: ME! Folks have been raving about the Audible version of my new book Wild World, Joyful Heart: Unlock Your Power to Create Health and Joy. I put my heart and soul into the reading of this book and it reportedly comes through in the narration?I just received an email this week of someone who’s listened to the book FOUR times. Nice! You can find it on Audible HERE.

Silent Night.

I love holiday songs. Even though I can be a bit of a Grinch around the whole !spend!…!shop!…!crazy-busy! vibe that can accompany the holidays, I love friend gatherings, family gatherings, and I sing my heart out?at home and in my car?to holiday songs. This season, I’ve been lovin’ Wham!’s “Last Christmas.” Right?!? Remember Wham!? Gotta love that 80’s music.

My perennial favorite holiday carol, however, is “Silent Night.”

Silent night.

Holy night.

All is calm. All is bright.

Sleep in heavenly peace.

What’s not to love about THAT vibe? Pentatonix does a gorgeous rendition of that song. Regardless of your religious leanings, silent, calm, bright and peaceful is a pretty stupendous-sounding evening, is it not? I invite you to create a pocket of silence, and take in this incredible gift we call “life.”?

Wishing you love, health and joy. Happy holidays.

Create Vibrant Health: BodyMindSpirit?

With love, calm and bright,

Laurie
