Good morning!
Holidays! Most of us are knee-deep in holiday festivities and responsibilities at this point. I have spoken to so, so many clients lately who feel that they are drowning in stress and exhaustion. So, we talk about Mind Savvy?. In addition to stress-management tools like deep-breathing, visualization, exercise, and meditation, sometimes it helps to simply ?raise your thoughts.?
What I mean is this. Sometimes we get so mired down in all of the details and drama that SEEM so huge and important, that we miss the big picture. It?s kinda like when you go up in a plane and look out the window and think ?wow?the world is very big and I am very small.? Which also means that your details and drama are small, in the grand scheme of life. Most of what you are worried about today won?t matter much in a few weeks or months. And, worry doesn?t do much to induce action and create effective change, anyways.
Instead, raise your thoughts up to the 30,000-foot view (like a plane). ?Wow, when I?m not focusing on all those little things that are troubling me, or that aren?t perfect, my life has a lot of beauty in it. Gosh, it?s a miracle how beautiful it all is in the big-picture view.? As Albert Einstein said:
There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.
Enjoy the miracles around you this holiday season. Hug your loved ones. Enjoy your friends. Revel in the fact that you are HERE and are a huge force in creating your life experience. As Richard Carlson said ?Don?t sweat the small stuff?and it?s all small stuff.? Instead, recognize and experience the miracles all around you.
The food you eat builds your body, every day, for better or for worse.? Make choices for health!
Happy Holidays to you.
With love & miracles,
Laurie
