Today I have some food for your plate, and some food for thought for you?a whole lot o? Food Sass?!
One of the areas that I work with client & students on is the idea of ?perceived barriers.? A perceived barrier is an idea or belief that you have, about pretty much anything, that holds you back from creating the health you desire and living the most full & awesome expression of yourself. The truth of the matter is, very few (any?) barriers are real. They are stories that we tell ourselves because we?are afraid, need a convenient excuse, don?t feel worthy, etc.
A perceived barrier that I hear over and over is that ?I don?t have time to eat well.?
Yes, you do.
My experience is that, usually, when people say ?I don?t have time,? what they really mean is ?it isn?t a priority.? So, the first thing, with this particular barrier, is helping folks understand that food is the foundation. You build your body & brain with food, and the rest of your life experience is created from that body & brain. Ya with me?
Next, is helping folks ease into this idea by showing them that eating for health doesn?t have to mean countless hours in the kitchen. This week?s Food Sass? recipe is a perfect example of that. It tastes AH-mazing, and takes about 4.5 minutes to put together. AND, it?s loaded with monounsaturated fats, fiber, & phytonutrients which all make our bodies very happy.
Give this one a whirl! And for those of you who are currently doing a Body Sass? Cleanse, this recipe is 100% Cleanse-friendly.
