Game-changing event: Heart-Centered Healing and Living

January 11, 2018
Kim Barthel is back by popular demand. Join us for an event that has the power to improve your relationships, your career, and your health & happiness. Limited seating: act now to reserve your seat!

November 9, 2017, forty-three women and men gathered to learn about The Power of Compassion from Kim Barthel. Every single one of those people found themselves in a heart-centered, science-rich, life-altering environment, with a truly gifted teacher. It was clear at the day?s end that this was a case where?more is better! By popular demand, Kim is returning from British Columbia for a TWO-day event that serves to continue the conversation started last November, while providing all of the necessary context for the folks that missed the November event. If you want to foundationally improve your relationship with your life experience, this is for YOU.

The Event

Heart-Centered Healing and Living with Kim Barthel

April 28 & 29 from 8:30 ? 4:30 each day
Entre-Suites, 67 West Street, Floor 2, Medfield, MA
Registration Fee: $397

Our two-day immersion will focus on heart-centered healing and living. The conversation will include an exploration of the interconnected areas of mindfulness, compassion, compassionate communication, and attachment theory as it relates to trauma and healing. As a matter of deeper explanation:

Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we?re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what?s going on around us. It allows us to recognize our options, respond instead of react, and gives us the power to change our past conditioning and become the person we want to be. It paves the way for fully conscious living?for your personal reality to be created purposefully, rather than haphazardly. Further, mindfulness leads to Insight, Wisdom, and Awakening. Mindfulness also paves the way for?

Compassion is the empathic desire to alleviate suffering and it?s often thought of as the highest form of love. It?s a strong, empowered state that we can actually cultivate, regardless of our trauma, pain, or life experience. It connects the feeling of empathy to acts of kindness, generosity, and understanding. Compassion flows from the interconnectedness between humans and is part of the solution for both psychological suffering and our overall well-being. Compassion and mindfulness blend to form?

Compassionate communication is basically the weaving of mindfulness and compassion into our everyday conversations and relationships to create a fabric of connection, love and understanding. This is pivotally important for us all?lovers, parents, politicians, teachers, supervisors, workers, collaborators, healing facilitators, nurses?all 7.6 billion of us. Compassionate communication with others, and with ourselves, opens the door for work with?

Attachment theory is meant to describe and explain people?s enduring patterns of relationships. It explores what happens when young children do not experience love, compassion, connection, and compassionate communication. This results in various degrees of trauma, which produces emotional coping mechanisms that can be challenging and damaging. Understanding the science and wisdom of attachment theory will help you understand yourself and the people you love, parent, and teach. A game-changer.

This two-day event will be an interweaving and exploration of these topics, providing you with theory for understanding, and a road map for application. If you?ve wondered what will heal our world (and you!)?this is it!
