Thank you for this great video and the reminder of the power our minds truly have over our experiences.
Great video, great story too! Funny that you speak of this mind turn-around attitude and exercise….I recently did the same thing and turned a situation completely around in my mind. I was asked to participate in an event, and I just didn’t want to…it was with people I used to hang out with 20 years ago, that was then and this is now…..blah blah blah. I realized that this is a challenge that I could do anything I want to with. Why am I being so negative and shutting this down so quickly? I had choices…..I could decline and then I’d be annoyed with myself that I didn’t accept and let that fester OR I could meet the challenge, gladly accept and give 110% to make it a great event. I decided to accepted the invitation and the challenge, and I’m going and I’m excited about it. I plan on having a great time, maybe meet some new friends, and visit with some old friends. It’s going to be great because I’m going to make it great!! I’ve chosen to make it that way. Thanks Laurie!!
Excellent video! I actually use reframing when my boss is annoying me. I really enjoy working with the other people in my company so when he is being really annoying I just think how much I enjoy the camaraderie with my other co-workers.
